Start with the part that is verifiable
Separate the event you can describe from the motive or reaction you are guessing. For a message about how to turn off read receipts without causing conflict, use this factual base: name the platform, content, frequency, audience, or account access that must change.
Make one answerable request
Give the recipient one concrete question or next step instead of several emotional jobs at once. State the requested removal or contact rule and use the platform control that supports it. Make the immediate next step clear enough that the recipient can answer without reconstructing the entire history.
Leave the recipient in control
Do not trade passwords, monitor accounts, or move to a new platform after someone declines contact. Report impersonation, intimate images, account compromise, threats, and doxxing through platform and specialist safety channels. A clear message remains useful even when the answer is no or no answer arrives.
